About the AWP | The Prince
The AWP | The Prince is a Covert sniper rifle skin from The Canals Collection. It was released in CS:GO in November 2019 with Operation Shattered Web, and it is one of the rarest Covert AWP skins in CS2.
Unlike most Covert AWPs, it never dropped from a weapon case. The Canals Collection came only from the operation, the Prince is its only Covert skin, and there is no StatTrak™ version. That limited supply is what sets it apart from the case AWPs it is often compared with.
The wear tabs at the top of this page show the current AWP Prince price for each condition.
Design
The body of the rifle is red with a textured floral pattern and gold filigree, and it carries the Latin inscription "Pax Tibi Marce Evangelista Meus". The grip is olive with its own floral pattern, and the other parts are covered in ornate medieval detailing in black, red, and grey. The colors on this page break down as mostly grey, with yellow, black, and brown.
The design is the same on every copy. There is no pattern to check, so the look of a particular Prince comes down to its wear.
How to Get the AWP | The Prince
The AWP | The Prince does not drop from any case. There are two ways to get one in CS2 today.
- Buy it from a marketplace. This is the route almost every player takes, because it lets you pick the exact wear and float. The offers at the top of this page show every marketplace with a listing.
- Trade up to it. It is the only Covert skin in The Canals Collection, and the MAG-7 | Cinquedea is its only Classified skin. So ten Cinquedeas always trade up into an AWP | The Prince.
The Canals Collection was originally earned through Operation Shattered Web, which ended long ago, so no new copies come from the operation.
Wear Conditions and Float
The Prince has a float range from 0.00 to 0.60, so it exists in all five wear conditions: Factory New (FN), Minimal Wear (MW), Field-Tested (FT), Well-Worn (WW), and Battle-Scarred (BS). Battle-Scarred only covers 0.45 to 0.60.
The first small marks appear on the stock at Minimal Wear. Near the top of the range they grow larger, and the paint on the barrel, upper stock, and scope is almost entirely worn away. The textured floral areas never show scratches, but they turn darker. Use the 3D inspect tool on this page to see how a given wear looks before you buy.
Switch between conditions using the tabs above. Each one has its own listings and price history.
Variants
There is no StatTrak™ version of the AWP | The Prince. Every copy is the standard version, so wear and float are the only things that separate one listing from another.
What Drives the Price of the AWP | The Prince
- Supply. It never dropped from a case and the operation that released it has ended, so the number of copies is limited.
- Wear. Condition is the biggest factor between listings. Factory New copies are the scarcest and sit well above worn ones.
- Float within a condition. A low float inside any wear bracket usually carries a premium.
- Trade-up cost. Because ten MAG-7 | Cinquedea skins always produce a Prince, the price of the Cinquedea tends to move with it.
- Demand for the AWP. It is the most recognizable weapon in the game, which keeps interest in its rare skins high.
- Applied stickers. Rare or well-placed stickers can add value that standard price data does not show.
Compare the offers above before you buy or sell, and set a price alert if you are waiting for a particular level.
Similar Skins

- Other collection-only AWPs. The AWP | Dragon Lore and AWP | Gungnir also never dropped from cases and sit at the top of the AWP market.
- Covert AWP skins from cases. The AWP | Asiimov, AWP | Wildfire, and AWP | Chromatic Aberration are easier to find and come in StatTrak™.
- Same collection. The MAG-7 | Cinquedea is the next-rarest skin in The Canals Collection.
