Rainbow Spoon patterns are broken down into three general categories: Market/Average patterns, "Fade Gems" (patterns that lack gold/yellow), and "Other Gems" (Gold/Pink gems and other colored gems). The most prominent colors are gold/yellow, pink, purple, blue, and green.

35 patterns - Just enough gold to not be Tier 1

Tier 1.5 Fade Gems have just enough gold/yellow to not be considered true Tier 1, but are still very good and would otherwise be classified as very good Tier 2. These may have a single noticeable spot of gold but would otherwise be Tier 1.
38 patterns - Similar to T1 with more gold/yellow

Tier 2 Fade Gems have a minimal amount of gold/yellow and are often fairly similar to T1 Fade Gems. They tend to have more gold/yellow bleeding or maybe a small spot of gold/yellow in common areas, but are otherwise still fade colors by and large.
35 patterns - Notable good fade patterns

Tier 3 Fade Gems have a limited amount of gold/yellow on a limited area of the Galil, primarily characterized by gold/yellow bleeding on edges and having only a small amount of gold/yellow otherwise. These can be known as "notable good fade patterns" rather than true "gems".
3 patterns - Prominent gold and pink colors

Gold/Pink Gems have most of their color made up of gold and/or pink. When gold/yellow is one of the most prominent colors from a pattern index, it often has a pink or slightly purple tinge in many areas. These won't be clean but represent some of the best gold/pink patterns available.
