The blade of the Bayonet Doppler Phase 1 is painted with metallic paints and adorned with a pattern of translucent wavy lines resembling smoke. The color scheme includes various shades of dark blue, purple and pink creating gradient transitions. The guard and handle remain unpainted.

The pattern index affects the ratio of colors as well as the location of dark blue, purple and pink areas. Knives which have no pink color on the play side of the blade resemble Bayonet Doppler Black Pearl. These pattern variations are titled Fake Black Pearl .

Since Bayonet Doppler Phase 1 cannot have a 100% dark pattern, there will always be 10-15% purple color present on the knife. The purple color (pink) is located either above the handle of the knife or at the tip of the blade. This guide focuses on the Play Side only.

Tier 1 patterns represent the highest quality Fake Black Pearl patterns with minimal pink color on the play side of the blade. These patterns closely resemble true Black Pearl knives and are the most valuable Phase 1 patterns.

Pattern Evaluation

Tier 2 patterns offer great Fake Black Pearl appearance with good dark coverage on the play side. While they may have slightly more pink areas than Tier 1, they still provide excellent value and visual appeal for collectors.

BTA (Better Than Average) patterns come after Tier 2 and are also classified as Fake Black Pearl patterns. These patterns provide good dark coverage and represent solid value for collectors seeking quality Phase 1 patterns at more accessible prices.

Float Value of Bayonet Doppler Phase 1 ranges from 0.00 to 0.08, making it available only in Factory New and Minimal Wear condition. At levels of wear close to the maximum, the knife has noticeable scratches and abrasions located on the spine and along the cutting edge.

Fake Black Pearl patterns are the most valuable Phase 1 variations due to their resemblance to true Black Pearl knives.

Phase 1 cannot achieve 100% dark pattern - there will always be 10-15% purple color present on the knife.

Value And Inspection Notes

Focus on the play side when evaluating patterns - this guide specifically covers play side patterns only.

Lower float values preserve the metallic finish and pattern clarity - crucial for Fake Black Pearl appearance.

Purple/pink areas are typically located above the handle or at the tip of the blade in quality patterns.
