What is StatTrak™?
StatTrak™ is a weapon technology that tracks the number of kills you get with a specific weapon. Each StatTrak weapon features an LED display that shows your total kill count, making it a prestigious way to showcase your performance.
StatTrak™ weapons are significantly rarer and more valuable than their regular counterparts.
How StatTrak™ Works
Kill Tracking
Every confirmed kill in official game modes increments the counter. The LED display updates in real-time, visible to you and spectators.
Supported Modes
Kills count in Competitive, Casual, Wingman, Deathmatch, and most official modes. Community servers may vary.
Personal Stats
Kill counts are tied to the original owner. When traded, the counter resets to zero for the new owner.
LED Display
The orange LED counter is integrated into the weapon model, usually on the side for easy viewing.
How to Get StatTrak™ Weapons
Case Openings
StatTrak weapons have a 10% chance to drop from weapon cases. Look for the StatTrak™ label when opening cases.
Trade Up Contracts
Use 10 StatTrak weapons of the same quality to receive 1 StatTrak weapon of the next higher quality.
Buy from Markets
Purchase StatTrak weapons directly from the Steam Market or third-party marketplaces at premium prices.

Important Notes
StatTrak™ Swap Tool can transfer kill counts between identical StatTrak weapons, but the tool is consumed after use.
StatTrak™ and Souvenir qualities are mutually exclusive - a weapon cannot be both.
Music Kits can also have StatTrak™ technology, tracking MVP rounds instead of kills.
