The playoffs of the first ever Counter-Strike 2 Major is upon us, with an absolutely stacked bracket.
The elimination stage of the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen has concluded, giving us the playoffs of the first ever CS2 Major. Here’s everything you need to know about the playoffs as we head into the Royal Arena.

After the underwhelming set of teams at the final CS:GO major playoffs, Copenhagen has absolutely delivered. With 8 of the best teams in the world making it through, we are looking at a bracket that rivals the best CS:GO majors.
When do the matches start?
Whether you’re a fan of a particular team or interested in taking in all of the Counter-Strike action, here are the timings of all the playoff matches:
Thursday, 28 March (Quarter-Finals):
- Team Vitality vs Cloud9 - 5 PM CET | 9 AM PT | 12 PM ET
- Team Spirit vs FaZe Clan - 8 PM CET | 12 PM PT | 3 PM ET
Friday, 29 March (Quarter-Finals):
- Eternal Fire vs Natus Vincere - 5 PM CET | 9 AM PT | 12 PM ET
- MOUZ vs G2 Esports - 8 PM CET | 12 PM PT | 3 PM ET
Saturday, 30 March (Semi-Finals):
- TBD vs TBD - 5 PM CET | 9 AM PT | 12 PM ET
- TBD vs TBD - 8 PM CET | 12 PM PT | 3 PM ET
Sunday, 29 March (Grand-Finals):
- Showmatch: Ecstatic vs Team Denmark - Time TBA

How to get to the Royal Arena
There are two metro stations within a few minutes walk from the venue, and regional train service nearby. PGL recommends that public transport is used.
- Metro: Royal Arena is close to Ørestad and Vestamager metro stations. Take the metro in the direction of Vestamager - a few minutes ride from Norreport station.
- Bicycle parking: Bicycle stands are available in the area around Royal Arena.
- Train: It's only a 6 min ride by train from Copenhagen Central Station towards Copenhagen Airport. Get off at Ørestad Station.
- Bus: Bus service 500S goes direct to Ørestad Station from e.g. Glostrup Station. Several departures every hour.
- Car: Royal Arena is situated by the motorway E20, exit 19. From here you can go to the drop- off zone at Orestads Boulevard by the Orestad metro station.
The venue opens at 2:30 PM local time (CET) on Thursday, Friday and Saturday with matches starting at 5:00 PM. Prior to the Grand Finals on Sunday there will be other entertainment in the form of a performance by The Verkkars, known for their EZ4ENCE and Flashbang Dance songs, and a showmatch between Ecstatic and Team Denmark, with the doors opening at 3:30 PM and the match starting at 6:00 PM
How to get CS2 Major Memorabilia Pins
PGL will be offering memorabilia pins to all attendees with a unique pin on offer on each day. These pins are exclusive to the major, so be sure to collect yours.
- Ground Floor Tickets: Entrance G (Near the Merchandise Stands) - Until 4:30 PM
- Regular Tickets: Entrance A (Across Sector 111) - Until 2nd map of 2nd series
