How to get CS2 Agent Skins

If you are looking for some Agent skins for your collection, here's how you can get them.

CS2Skins

Agent skins remain one of the most controversial features in Counter-Strike ever since their addition to the game in 2020. Valve rarely mentions the feature, and professional players have operated under a gentlemen’s agreement never to use them in professional play. Still, they give casual players another way to show their individuality while potentially gaining a competitive advantage.

Trading for a CS2 Agent Skin

Skin trading is always the best place to find great deals on your favorite skins. With Agent skins so far being exclusive to Operation rewards, trading is usually the only way to acquire these skins. To find the best prices for the skin, you can check out our guide on Pricempire’s Deals page. The Agent skins can be very affordable for common options like the Soldier | Phoenix, which starts around a dollar, but popular Agents like Sir Bloody Miami Darryl can go for as high as $65.

The skins can also be acquired through the steam market, but prices usually run significantly higher than those on 3rd party sites, making this a financially unwise purchase.

When will CS2 get more Agent Skins?

Weapons and glove skins join the game regularly through new cases and collections. Similarly, sticker capsules enter the game on a regular basis, refreshing the options. However, Agent skins are exclusive to Operations, which are the semi-regular battle passes for the game. The most recent operation, unfortunately, was Operation Riptide in 2021.

Since then, Valve has seemingly put Operations out of its priority list as CS2 has become its main focus. There are constant rumors of upcoming operations, but with nothing concrete, we’ll have to wait and see what pops up.
